On Tuesday 23rd January, months of planning finally became a reality. In a room full of positivity and enthusiasm we ate, we drank and we chatted about the upcoming Mental Health event of the year. The TCH launch event was exciting and overwhelming in equal measures.

The fact that over 250 of our contacts made the effort on a wintry Tuesday night to come into the City, or to delay going home after a long day in the office was humbling. Perhaps we should have expected a great turnout, after all, mental health is current, topical and has been inspiring passion the length and breadth of the country. So we really should not have been surprised at the unprecedented level of interest. Nonetheless the buzzing room was more encouraging and exhilarating than we could have imagined.

We’re so appreciative of our hosts Allen & Overy for giving over the use of their office space, with its spectacular view, to introduce our project to our network. And we thank you warmly for joining us and listening to our story. The story of Neil and Jonny’s chance meeting and how that fateful day paved the way for this immensely important journey.

We were treated to some mind-boggling magic from Nick Einhorn before we (Zoe, Jonny and Neil) spoke to you about This Can Happen.

And so the countdown begins until the most unique and highly anticipated Mental Health event of the year comes to London.

We are building our outstanding agenda every day and signing speakers who will change the way you think about mental health in your workplace and, crucially, how you act upon these problems.

We will communicate this content to you through monthly newsletters in the run up to the event. Please let us know if you’d like to receive the newsletter.

We can’t wait for you to register delegations – although we don’t need names until much closer to the time. And we would love to hear if you’re interested in partnering with us. Contact us and we would be delighted to chat about options.

Again, thanks to those who joined us at the launch. We loved meeting you and we hope you enjoy this video of the evening – can you spot yourself?

If you didn’t make it, you can still find out about the event by reading our monthly newsletters.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter #TCHappen and on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Warmest wishes,

Zoe, Jonny and Neil – The TCH Team
