Joscelyne is Executive Director of Mates in Mind, a new charity launched in 2017 to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health and improve mental wellbeing in the construction sector. Mates in Mind has led in the creation of an innovative approach that helps companies nurture positive mental wellbeing amongst their workforce working in construction and wider construction-related industries. Key to its success is breaking the silence and stigma that can surround mental health in society in general, and the workplace in a sector such as construction in particular.
Prior to this, Joscelyne was an Executive Director at the British Safety Council during which time she has held responsibility for HR, Awards and Events, having initially joined the organisation in 2011 as Head of Policy. Before moving to the British Safety Council, Joscelyne was a consultant providing health, safety and environmental risk communication, management and performance measurement services.
Joscelyne has a MSc from Lund University, Sweden, in environmental policy and economics, and a BA (Hons) in Environmental & Geographical Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
