Dr Kamel Hothi OBE has been breaking glass ceilings in the banking world for over 4 decades from cashier to Director as well as a Strategist and Architect of numerous initiatives that have changed the banking industry, including creating a new blueprint of corporate charity partnerships and volunteering.
However, these she has achieved despite the struggles, discrimination and gender imbalance during her career. She is now ranked in the top 100 most influential black, Asian and minority ethnic leaders in the UK and was awarded an OBE for services to promoting diversity in banking.
Now after 38 years she retired to support several boards as an Advisor / Trustee including the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, Alzheimer’s Soc, Teenage Cancer Trust and a NED on a number of businesses including TLC Lions.
